Storage of seeds
According to Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), 15% of the world's total yield of cereals and pulses is lost as the result of storage. Therefore, the storage conditions for seed grain are so important.
The storage technologies for seed grain have been recently changed and improved. The new packing materials, treatment forms and products, and effective equipment have appeared, first of all that allows us to consider seed quality priorities and its biological potential.
The Seed Plant SGT applies several seed storage methods in its production. The main method is storage of finished packed products and seed raw materials / heap in big bags, placed in two levels on the pallets. The warehouse is joint to the plant building where more than 1,500 tons can be simultaneously stored and up to 6,000 tons can be stored in the warehouse complex, so the total storage capacity is more than 7,500 tons. We have certain formula for success, which we have acquired over the past 3 years working at the former enterprise, which allows us to be responsible for the storage quality of your seeds. We initially designed the plant, and warehouse complexes according to our customers' strict requirements, which are higher than the State Standards of the Russian Federation (GOST).
For high quality storage of different crop seeds (sunflower, rapeseed, soybean, corn), we will create the favorable conditions for you to keep the primary seed germination, vigor, and energy.
High quality storage of field crop seeds with a moisture content of 9.5-11.4% under the dry climate conditions keeps high germination rate for several years.

Under the proper storage conditions, the seeds of wheat, barley, oats, beets, rapeseed, and mustard have the highest longevity; the corn seeds have little bit lower longevity, and the level of longevity of such crops as rye, millet, sunflower, soybean and some other oilseeds is much lower. This is especially important considering that foreign seeds which price depends on the currency rate occupy a significant part of the Russian market.
